Terms & Conditions – International Junior Icon Awards (IJIA)

This Participant Agreement ("Agreement") governs the terms and conditions between the participant ("you") and International Junior Icon Awards (IJIA) is initiative by Social Chap Events, a brand under Socialchap Private Limited, regarding your participation in IJIA, including nominations, auditions, selections, PR & promotional packages, award titles, event entry, and the final awards show. By applying for nominations, you have automatically accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.

1. General Terms & Acceptance of Agreement

By participating in the International Junior Icon Awards (IJIA), the participant and their parent/guardian confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these legally binding Terms & Conditions. Nominations are free, but once submitted, the participant automatically agrees to comply with all rules, obligations, and financial commitments outlined in this agreement. IJIA reserves the right to modify, update, or change these terms at any time without prior notice, and continued participation in the event constitutes acceptance of any such changes. Participants are not entitled to challenge or contest these terms at any stage of the event.

2. Eligibility & Participation

• Nominations are free, but selection for auditions and final awards is not guaranteed.

• The selection process for auditions and the final event is at the sole discretion of the IJIA jury, and all decisions are final and non-contestable.

• IJIA reserves the absolute right to accept, reject, or disqualify any participant at any stage without providing reasons or prior notice.

• Age criteria, category eligibility, and selection guidelines may change at IJIA’s discretion.

3. Payments & Financial Obligations

• Audition fees of ₹1,500/- per participant are mandatory and non-refundable, covering audition participation, a certificate, and soft copies of photographs.

• On-the-spot printed photographs are available at ₹150 per print.

• Finalists selected for awards must pay the PR & Media Promotional Charges, which will be communicated after selection and before the title announcement. PR charges vary based on category, city, and individual profile, and participants must choose a PR Package (Diamond, Gold, or Silver) accordingly.

• IJIA reserves the full right to withhold or cancel an award if the participant refuses to pay PR charges, and all previous payments made (audition fee, registration fee, etc.) will not be refunded under any circumstances.

• PR package prices are not disclosed at the nomination or audition stage and are communicated only post-selection.

• Entry to the final award show is chargeable. The number of complimentary entries per participant will be allotted as per their PR Package. Additional entry tickets must be purchased separately, and seating arrangements will be determined based on the PR package category.

• All payments, including audition fees, PR charges, and final show entry fees, are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• All financial transactions (audition fees, PR charges, sponsorships, ticket sales) should officially be under Socialchap Private Limited for transparency.

4. Intellectual Property & Content Usage

• By participating, all participants grant full, unrestricted rights to IJIA to photograph, record, and use their name, image, videos, voice recordings, and other content in marketing, branding, advertisements, sponsorships, social media, websites, hoardings, and other promotional material.

• IJIA and its sponsors have the perpetual right to use participant content commercially without additional consent or compensation.

• Participants and parents waive any right to claim compensation, royalties, or ownership over event-related content.

• Third-party sponsors and advertisers may also use participant content, and IJIA is not responsible for how such content is used.

5. Event Participation, Sponsorship & Privacy

• IJIA has the right to engage sponsors, advertisers, and commercial partners, and participant data may be shared with sponsors for promotional use.

• IJIA is not responsible for third-party use of participant information once shared with sponsors, media agencies, or advertisers.

• The event may include live streaming, media coverage, and social media promotions where participant details will be displayed.

• Participation in IJIA automatically constitutes consent for data sharing, media use, and sponsorship integration.

6. Disqualification & Compliance

IJIA reserves the absolute right to disqualify any participant without refund if:

• Misrepresentation of participant information is found.

• The participant or their guardian fails to comply with financial obligations, including PR package payments.

• Any misconduct, including rude or disrespectful behavior towards IJIA staff, volunteers, or sponsors.

• Any violation of event guidelines, misbehavior at the venue, or disruption of the event.

7. Access & Restricted Areas

• Parents and guardians are not permitted in backstage areas, makeup rooms, rehearsal rooms, control consoles, or any restricted zones.

• IJIA reserves the right to restrict participant movement in certain event areas for safety and operational reasons.

8. Cancellation, Refunds & Event Modifications

• All payments, including audition fees, PR charges, and final award show entry fees, are non-refundable under any circumstances.

• If an event is rescheduled, postponed, or canceled, IJIA is not liable for refunds or compensation.

• Event dates, venues, schedules, and formats may be changed at IJIA’s discretion without prior notice, and participants agree to comply with any modifications.

9. Celebrities, VIPs, and Guest Appearances

IJIA aims to bring celebrities, prominent personalities, government officials, VIPs, or other notable individuals to present awards and participate in the event. However, IJIA does not guarantee the presence of any specific guest, and their availability is subject to last-minute changes due to health issues, scheduling conflicts, unforeseen circumstances, or cancellations beyond IJIA's control. No claims, refunds, or disputes shall be entertained regarding changes in the guest lineup, absence of a celebrity, or modifications to the planned award presentation.

10. Limitation of Liability & Legal Compliance

• IJIA, Social Chap Events, a brand under Socialchap Private Limited, and associated partners are not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, or disputes arising from participation in the event.

• Participants waive all legal claims related to event participation, selection process, financial transactions, and award decisions.

• Participants fully accept that IJIA has absolute discretion in all matters related to the event, and no appeals, disputes, or contestations will be entertained.

• Socialchap Private Limited is the sole authority over IJIA, and Social Chap Events only acts as the event organiser.

11. Entire Agreement & Updates

• This Terms & Conditions Agreement constitutes the full agreement between IJIA and the participant, superseding all prior communications, agreements, or understandings.

• IJIA reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

• By registering for IJIA, participants and their parents/guardians fully accept and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions without reservation.
